Attended by throngs of spectators, the number one golf course in Spain hosted the big-hitters from across the globe including 2010 World Champion Joe Miller, fellow Brit, Dan Konyk, Gerrard Pera – the first Spaniard to take part in a World Championship and 2011 Rookie of the year, and Swedish sensation Jorgen Trank . Dan Konyk thundered his way to victory in the RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship with a winning shot of 366 yards, and also strike the longest ball of the day of 417 yards. Qualifying for a place in the Grand Final in Las Vegas, Dan Konyk also takes home a cheque for €3,000.
